giving you a feeling of being miles from anywhere, but with the convenience of the lovely market town of Wareham only a mile and a half away. You can use your car (the lodge has it’s own parking) or take the slow route by bike or foot across the fields to have a browse around the market on the quay on Saturdays or the farmers market on a Thursday. The town has lots of lovely cafés and bars and is situated right by the river.

Or if you feel like staying even closer to home there is a pub within stumbling distance for a cosy dinner or quiet pint. Ideally located as a hopping off point for some of the most stunning sections of the Jurassic Coast, you’ll be spoilt for choice for walks and short trips to the beach.
